Marie Lang attended the Ohio State University and earned a BFA, in painting and ceramics, afterwards she attended the Harding Hospital Graduate Internship in art therapy. Marie has worked at Forest Hospital in Des Plaines Illinois, St. Vincent's Children's Program Columbus Ohio, Directions Counseling Group in Columbus Ohio, The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital, Directions Counseling Group, among others. An experienced art therapist since 1991, specializing in grief and loss, anxiety and trauma recovery, Marie is also an artist. Marie has been married for 26 years to Chris; they have two children and live in Arizona. Marie is an experienced workshop presenter, including Prague, Czech Republic and St. Petersburg, Russia. Her art has been shown in various galleries and has she has been awarded grants with the Ohio Arts Council. Marie loves working with children using the arts for healing, growth and self-expression. Marie is a certified Cerny Smith provider and offers coaching for cross cultural living and parenting. Though she respects and works with individuals from all backgrounds, she is deeply rooted in faith, and believes that God desires us all to live with emotional and relational wholeness.
