After the loss of our first son Isaac, over 25 years ago, I became passionate about learning to heal after loss, both for myself and then walking alongside others, who have been through the devastating loss of a loved one. At the James Cancer Hospital, in Columbus Ohio, I led grief support groups for 12 years, for children who had lost a loved one. Since then, my life passion is helping people to overcome what has happened to them, both "big T trauma and little t trauma", so that they are not defined by it. I have been trained in EMDR, and know how to help you to process your trauma in a healing way. I use somatic informed approaches and art therapeutically to overcome the impact of trauma, so that healing can begin gently. Art Therapy is a kind way to begin your healing journey. Through art, you can connect both sides of the brain, to integrate your experiences and heal past wounds, diminish triggers and find a path forward.
